Adult
Ads must not promote pornographic or sexually explicit content, nudity, or adult services.
Examples of inappropriate content:
- Graphic sexual imagery
- Semi-nude or revealing images
- Content that promotes or fetishizes intimate body parts
- Overly sexual
- Imply nudity
- Display excessive amounts of skin, cleavage or focus unnecessarily on body parts
- Allude to sexual activity
Abortion and Contraception
Ads must not promote content related to abortion. This includes but is not limited to ads promoting abortion clinics, services or procedures, or products designed to induce abortions.
Harm or sexualization of children
Ads must not depict harm or sexualization of children
Example:
- Portraying schoolkids with sexually provocative dress and behaviour
- Over muscled children
Hateful, discriminatory, abusive, intolerant or exploitative content
Ads that disparage people based on their religion, or promote hateful, discriminatory, abusive, intolerant, or exploitative content, are prohibited.
Ad content must not encourage or promote hateful, discriminatory, abusive, intolerant, or exploitative behaviors or attitudes.
This policy prohibits discriminatory ads based on personal attributes such as race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, disability, and other factors.
State a political point of view content is prohibited.
Obscene or offensive
Ads must not promote anything that is obscene or offensive. For example using images of dead bodies, faces, or bodily fluids.
Profanity or vulgar language
Ads must not use profanity or vulgar language. For example curse words, racial, religious, or homophobic slurs, spelling variations of profane language, or use of foreign language profanity.
Illegal products and services
Ads must not promote anything that has a significant risk of being a breach of international law, a crime against humanity, or considered to be illegal in the target region.
Examples:
- Targeting children in an alcohol campaign or depicting children drinking alcohol.
- Advertising gambling products in regions where the client is not licensed to do so.
- Advertising a trading platform membership without disclosing the risks to users’ investments.
Fake News
Prohibited content includes deceptive sites or content that misleads readers into believing false information, disguised ads with no value, propaganda, or hoaxes.
High Risk of Fraud
Ads must not promote content related to encouraging high-risk investments or money-making schemes with the intention of profiting off user participation (i.e. “Get Rich Quick” Schemes)
Ads must not promote any No-Payday-Loans or Cash Advance Loans
Ads must not promote any No-Penny-Stocks or Binary Options
No-Penny-Auctions Ads are prohibited.
Malware
Ads must not contain adware, malware, spyware, virus, Trojan Horses, or other features designed to infiltrate or damage computer systems or access personally identifiable user information without explicit user consent
Religion
Content cannot advocate for or promote one religion over another
Shock or scare tactics
Ads must not use shock or scare tactics to promote content, products, or services.
Low-quality or disruptive content
Ads must not interfere with the user’s experience.
Examples:
- Campaigns using poor spelling and grammar throughout the entirety of the funnel.
- Interfering with a user’s ability to return to the original referring website by clicking back in their browsers.
- Using websites that contain pop-under advertisements, which open new browser windows are hidden under the active window.
- Landing pages with broken links or navigational bars, excessive pop-ups, significantly altered images, significantly misaligned image
